Tata then stepped into a phone booth but soon realized he didn’t have any cash on him. Standing nearby, Bachchan was taken aback when Tata approached him and asked, “Amitabh, can I borrow some money from you? I don’t have money to make a phone call!” This small moment, Bachchan noted, stressed upon Tata’s remarkable humility and simplicity.
